Quick daily progress update. I did some research yesterday about the graininess of the video quality and found that apparently, an old, low resolution DSLR with a decent lens is much better to use for recording a podcast than a newer, 8K high resolution smart phone. Who knew? Apparently image quality is about a lot more than resolution. It's about color, lighting, and clarity. I was totally planning to sell that DSLR to make some extra cash with our budgeting but now I can get more use out of it!
Also, I'm learning about marketing--specifically how to help men find our website, Youtube channel, and the one on one coaching we provide. I've come across some excellent resources surrounding these business functions. The first is a book by Noah Kagan called Million Dollar Weekend. So far, it has been fantastic and really helped me to just act and not overthink the complexities of starting a business. I'm hoping it works the same for finding people who need help!
The second is a free course that accompanies a book called $100M Leads by Alex Hormozi. I have the book and it is very easy to read and follow but I like the additional video component in my learning so I find the course helpful.
That's it! See you tomorrow.
